We, leaders, officials and employees at the Ministry of Public works are always proud of the wise words said by Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan AL- Nahyan (may Allah forgives him). We quench our thirst by referring to them as they light our way towards progress. We always benefit from these wise sayings which set a landmark and a system to follow.
We are committed to our pledge to you, Sheikh Zayed, and we will follow your footprints and your glorious history since the 6th of August 1966. With your firm you defeated the desert and planned the cities. That’s why we are very proud to be part of the procession of development and prosperity.
If this country has a history of pride and dignity, it is the history that started the day Zayed took over to inaugurate the march of development that considered man as its primary target. He said: “(man) is the primary target and tool of development”. We have learned that from him. The state of the UAE is following his steps because the road he followed is always crowned with success and achievements day after another. What he planted for man is beneficial to man. He taught man to sow, participate and be proactive. These are the fruits of the procession. The people are brought up upon the principles of his sublime leader that’s rarely found anywhere.
The march of prosperity and development is continuing after Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed took over. He is the best successor to the best predecessor. Through his wisdom and unlimited generosity, he proves that what had been sown by his late father will always remain flourished, that the building his father set its foundation stone will stay high as a witness of the glory of this land. A tangible proof is His Highness the president of U.A.E’s initiative to develop remote areas and his constant follow up of this project.
From this point, Ministry of Public Works devoted its time and effort to upgrade the country, and spare no effort to construct and promote this giving country. Now more than 34 years have elapsed since the establishment of the ministry, the number of federal government projects is increasing. Citizens of the UAE are now engineers, technicians and administrators. They are able to construct and achieve high standard buildings for this country.
In implementation of directives by the founder and late president, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan AL-Nahyan to promote constructions, and similar guidance from His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, we follow the way of progress and the future prospective that gives the construction sector and housing projects great attention to occupy a distinguished place at the international level. Our vision is renewable for a better tomorrow.
