Laboratory Mission:
Testing all construction materials according to International specifications and standards to achieve high quality in the facilities.

Laboratory Objectives:
Conduct quality control tests on all construction materials used in various ministry’s projects according to international standards.

Laboratory Services

The main duty of the Laboratory is to test the variety of Building Materials which are used in the Ministry of Public Works
projects in two stages. First during the construction and Second at the time of Maintenance for quality control of the material
to meet with the specified Standard.

Laboratory Policies

A representative sample of Material at site should be collected by consultant. The Request Form Should be filled properly and signed by consultant.
The representative sample should be kept in a good plastic sealed bag and sign by consultant. Concrete cube should be transported wrap with wet cloth.
Care should be taken at the time of transportation, any damage is not occurred.
Send the sample with filled Request Form and confirm the information which is given on sealed bag is checked and approved by consultant.
Design of Concrete Mix, Aggregate, Plaster, Mortar & Soil. All material should be submitted by consultant or put in a particular locked box. Prior to submit the sample to laboratory a duplicate key should be given to the lab.
The lab will receive the sample after checking as per technical standard. Customer will make the payment by e-dirham.

Receive the Test Report from the laboratory reception.

Contact the lab and ask about Test Result with the sample Reference or e-dirham invoice number.

Send an official request to lab. Manager to send the Test Result by fax.

Receiving Time of Sample:

Last receiving time of sample is 1.30 pm.

* Weekly test during 3 first months of concrete production, then a test every 3 months. Handing over of cubes for inspection is one week before the concrete is 28 days old. The report will be issued after 14 work days.
